PwC in Alliance with ContractPodAI to Launch Legal GenAI Platform Leah for Contracts

PwC, a global network of professional services firms with over 4,000 lawyers globally, announced that it has entered into an alliance with ContractPod Technologies Ltd (“ContractPodAi”), a leading and innovative provider of legal AI technology, to launch a new consulting service powered by ContractPodAi’s Leah

This alliance will see PwC’s Legal Business Solutions leveraging Leah to expand their delivery and implementation capacity, positioning PwC at the forefront of legal GenAI. The Leah platform uses Generative AI, natural language processing, machine learning and data analytics to automate and enhance various aspects of contract related work, such as including redline, data extraction, and discovery tools to address day to day projects and transactions managed by procurement and legal departments. Leah generates insights and recommendations based on large volumes of data, delivering richer information that will enable the firms to identify solutions faster.

Sarvarth Misra, ContractPodAi’s co-founder and CEO, said: “By combining Leah’s cutting-edge legal domain GenAI power with PwC’s deep legal expertise and commanding leadership position we will deliver a market leading offering for legal departments, allowing them to cut through the noise and quickly achieve vast productivity gains and sustainable, tangible outcomes.”

Frederic Mirza Khanian, Global Legal Business Solutions Leader, PwC Germany, said: “We’ve been working with ContractPodAi for some time now and I’m confident that our alliance with Leah will significantly improve what we can offer to our clients with industry leading multi-model GenAI technology. This partnership aligns with our global strategy: a human-led and tech-powered approach in order to serve our clients faster, better and more accurately. Our recent Annual Global CEO Survey showed that nearly three-quarters (70%) of CEOs believe generative AI will significantly change the way their company creates, delivers, and captures value in the next three years. With this partnership, we will combine the power of technology and data with understanding, context and experience to ensure we answer genuine needs and solve genuine problems.”

Klaus Schmidt, Global Tax & Legal Services Alliances Leader, PwC Germany, added: “Looking at the capabilities which Leah has, we can easily see its benefits for both our clients and our own internal lawyers and practice staff. I’m personally excited to see this in the hands of our people and what change this will bring for us as a firm.”
